Newly Adopted MaineCat Policies

I’m pleased to announce that after much work, feedback, and wordsmithing the Maine InfoNet Board has adopted a set of new policies that will govern the management and participation of the MaineCat requesting and lending system.

This page shows the policies as accepted and in some cases includes notes to help explain the rationale or implications of the policy.  As these policies are implemented we will do our best to link any best practices or suggested procedures from this page as well.

 

The policies are considered active at this time, however we are asking for patience and cooperation as we work to develop best practices and implement the various changes needed to implement these new policies over the next few months.
