MSCS were included in the column “Curating Collective Collections” which appeared in the September, 2013 edition of “Against the Grain”. The column mentioned MSCS’s decision to join the HathiTrust, the development of the Memorandum Of Understanding, decision to contract with Sustainable Collection Services, and plans to disclose retention commitments in OCLC. Chronicle of Higher Education publishes article on shared print feat. MSCS
The Chronicle of Higher Education has published an article on shared print, which features a section on the work of the Maine Shared Collections Strategy (MSCS). The main focus of the article is the Northeast Regional Library Print Management Project, which includes representatives from MSCS libraries.
