1) OCLC Shared Print Symbol
Discussed need for shared print symbol and its implications.
Discussed example: bbhsc = Bowdoin – Shared Print
Noted that ‘sc’ might conflict with Special Collections
General agreement to move forward, preferably with ‘sp’ as the suffix
2) 583 / 852 in item records, y tagged field
Discussion of format, briefly. Workflow discussions of creation of LHR.

Display in local systems and central system still being discussed. Might require custom coding from III, or might rely on display in worldcat
The cataloguers will want support and education for how to add 583 on an ongoing basis because it will affect their workflow.

561 – originating institution – mentioned briefly. Sara checking with OCLC if necessary in this project since items not moving to central repository.
3) LHRs in OCLC
Two methods of export from III and ingestion into OCLC being explored:
export table – fee from III
OCLC pilot project – csv data uploaded via a web interface

Request shared print symbol – after conferring with project team
Working group will continue working on:

○ ILL – Guy and others exploring
○ LHRs
